MFA adding your Phone number
- Go to the Microsoft Account page
- You will now be directed to your Sign in info Management page.
- click +Add Method
- Select Phone option from the drop down list.
- Enter your phone number, make sure to choose United Kingdom for area code and select the option you want to receive the authentication, whether its text or via a call to your mobile device.
- You will then receive a text message with a 6-digit security code you need to enter on your screen or a phone call were you will be asked to enter the # key on your keypad to identify that its your phone. Click Next
- You have now completed adding your phone number as an extra multi factor authentication set up, click done

Don't forget to set up more than one MFA authentication method for your Single Sign-On! If your phone is your only method and is lost, replaced or stolen, you could temporarily lose access to your account. Guides here: https://help.it.ox.ac.uk/mfa-setup-and-management
