Managing your MFA sign in methods (default method of sign in and removing)

If you have set up more than one method of authentication on your account, this guide is design to help you choose how you want to sign in using a different MFA authentication method whether its via the Authentication App, a text message or a phone call for authentication.

  1. Go to the Microsoft account page
  1. Click security info

  1. Where it says Default sign in Method, click change, you should then see a drop down of methods you can choose as your default second factor authentication to be prompted with next time you sign into your account.

  1. If you have lost your device that you use to sign in (authenticate), you can sign out from all of your devices by clicking on the Sign out everywhere.
