Setting up Hardware token using Google Chrome on a Windows/Mac Device
- Go to the Microsoft Account page.
- You are now directed on your Security info account Management page.
- On the security info page click +Add Method.
- In the drop-down menu, select Security Key.
- Click Add.
- Choose USB device.
- Have your hardware token key ready and click Next.
- You will be prompted to confirm, click Continue.
- Insert your Harware Token Key into a free usb port.
- Create a new security Pin which will be used next time you need to authenticate when accessing your account. Please make sure the Pin is a minimum of 6 digits.
- Touch the Sensor on your Hardware Token Key, to confirm its you.
- Click Allow and Continue.
- Name your Hardware Token Key to help distinguish it from other authentication methods and other keys you may set up in the future.
- Set up Complete, click Done.
